Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, a former player from Ghana, is full of confidence before the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which starts in almost 48 hours.
He said that Ghana will definitely make it through the group stage and move on to the next level. He was so sure that it would happen that he said if it didn’t, he would shave his head on live TV.
The former Udinese star made the bold claim on TV3, where he was talking about the upcoming World Cup with former players Jerry Akaminko and Shilla Illiasu.
He said, “We’re making good progress with set pieces. We haven’t taken off yet. We now have a bench that is strong. I’m not sure if this team will lose and lose their chance to move on to the next round. If they don’t, I’ll shave off all my hair in front of a TV camera.
I’m willing to put everything into this group and get out of the group. If Ghana doesn’t move on from the group stage, I’ll shave it here. “I have a lot of faith in this team,” he said.
