Colleges of Education. Education is the key. It is therefore prudent for individuals to have formal education. How getting access to this formal education in Ghana is becoming a huge problem for students. Series of strike actions upon the other. This is not favorable for academia.

Students across the 46 training Colleges across the country are now in pain. They are dying of hunger and struggling to get food for themselves. This imposes a whole lot of challenges on potential teachers.
It is almost one week, and the government has not addressed the grievances of CETAG and CENTS. Teacher Trainees are not getting food to eat. They have adopted a new system called ‘Operation feed yourself”.
How can one have a concentrated mind to learn when he or she is hungry? Colleges of Education Non-Teaching Staff and Colleges of Education Teachers Association are on strike. No food for trainees and no lectures.
We have observed that several students have left the premises of the colleges in other to find their food. This is very sad for teacher trainees.

The Government should intervene as early as possible to avoid consequences. The ministry of education must call the unions on board to solve their grievances amicably. This will help teacher trainees in their academic pursuit.
