How To Get Free Credits And Data Using Your MTN Points

All MTN users can redeem or convert the points they earned from buying credit, and data and sending Momo into airtime or data.

Every MTN user gets rewarded with MTN points for every service used on MTN. Thus, each time you buy data, send mobile money or make calls, you are rewarded MTN points. These points can be converted into rewards.

How to convert your MTN Reward points into Credits and Data

#1. Using your phone key in the USSD code *550#

#2. Choose option 7 by entering 7 in the space provided and click Send

#3. Choose option 1, by entering 1 in the space provided and click Send, to check your current points

#4.  Now that you know the number of points you have accumulated in your MTN points, repeat steps 1 and 2

#5. Enter 99 and send

#6. Enter 2 to redeem your points

#7. Choose what you want to convert your points into. The options you have are

a. Airtime

b. Data Bundle

c. Other Rewards

d. Back

#8. Make use of your points by either using them for an Airtime, Data Bundle or Other Rewards.

By redeeming your MTN rewards, you will save on the direct expenses you incur in terms of data and air time buying.

Note that, you will not be able to redeem your rewards by the end of December.
