The World Of God: Depend On Jesus Christ No Matter The Situation.

🔑📖“`KEY VERSE:“` _*”Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever” (HEBREWS 13:8).*_
Nothing has remained constant all through the ages. Not even the earth has remained the same since its creation. Seasons have been known to change the nature and quality of things. This confirms the saying that the only thing permanent in life is change.
This, however, is not true concerning our Lord. Times and seasons may change but the Lord remains the same all through the ages. Because the Lord is unchanging, His promises and precepts for His people remain the same too. The desirability of marriage and family life is still the same. So is the purity and sanctity of its vows. The responsibilities of believers towards one another remain unchanging no matter what changes may take place in world economies and policies. Believers can also rest assured in the ever-abiding presence of God, His protection, and sufficiency irrespective of the troubles and fears in the world.
Since the Lord is unchanging, believers today ought not to worry about the different changes taking place in the world. Failing world economies, an increased state of insecurity, the outbreak of strange diseases and infections, the rapid increase of knowledge, etc., should not undermine the faith of the believer at all. God’s word and power are still much relevant and at work even in these last days.
Moreover, the Christian faith, beliefs, and hope are not getting out of circulation or becoming irrelevant; rather, Christianity is more relevant today than ever before. This is because after this world has faded away, all kingdoms collapse, and knowledge fail, the Lord Jesus Christ with His redeemed Church will never remain the same.

*MEDITATION*
*1. The unbiased love*
a. Many things will threaten, try and toss brotherly love. Never all of them. Love must be continuous, v1.
b. Practical love involves taking care of the need of strangers and not only close neighbors, vv2,3.
*Questions*
a. Do you still love without discrimination or biases like when you were new in the faith?
b. Can you recall people who had shown compassion on strangers before discovering they were angels?
It still happens today. Your angel is the person that God helps you to identify his need and you can assist.
*2. The undefiled with lust*
a. The honors in holy marriage are being trampled upon through unclean sexual defilement, fornication, and adultery, v4. God still judges today through different means. Judgment is real, v4.
b. Lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes are foundations of all forms of evil covetousness. When the heart is clean and purified man becomes free from lusts, vv5,6.
*Questions*
Why should we not allow covetousness to take hold of us? vv5b, 6.
Say NO to all forms of worldly lust and trust God for the provisions of all your legitimate needs.
*3. The unchanging LORD*
a. Since Jesus is unchanging then He does not grow and will never grow old, v8.
b. Since His wisdom remains unchanged, His way, word, and will remain the same irrespective of the age we are in, v8. Nothing like modern Christianity but the same old Christianity.
c. Since we will be like Christ in heaven, then there will be no growth of any form. There will be perfect knowledge and perfect maturity for all.
d. Since He is ever the same, all doctrines that are not in conformity with the old-fashioned faith are strange and false, v9.
e. Since He is unchanging, what He did before, including when He was on earth, will be repeated when the same conditions are fulfilled. For example, if you manifest the same faith as of Old, you will get the same result.

a. What are the other implications of the fact that our Lord is immutable or never changes?
b. How do you want to be obeying the command in v7?
*Prayer points*
Ask God for your first love for fellow believers and His word when you first gave your life to Christ🙏
Pray that every seed of lust in your heart will be destroyed and your heart purified🙏
Pray that you will ever be growing in all things to be more and more like Christ🙏
Pray that the Church, especially the youths, will have the grace to be purified from all lusts🙏

PRAYER*Beloved, make peace with your past so it won’t disturb your future. What other people think of you is non of your business. The only person who is in charge of your happiness, comfort, focus, and courage is you. Don’t compare yourself to others. Comparison is the thief of joy. STOP worrying and thinking so much about yourself. Be grateful to God in all circumstances. Smile, because you don’t own all the solutions in this corruptible world. May the Almighty God supernaturally grant you uncommon confidence and empowerment to stay healthy, stronger, and fruitful in every aspect of your life. May your soul, body and mind receive the unmerited PEACE and FAVOR you’re anticipating in this life’s journey.
