How to Check 2026 BECE Results – Step By Step

The West African Examination Council has an easy-to-follow guide for you if you want to check the 2026 BECE results. Once the results are out, all candidates who participated in the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will be notified. In addition to the serial number and pin, a candidate will need his or her index number and date of birth to check BECE results on the WAEC website.

How to check 2026 BECE results online

1. Visit the BECE results checker portal HERE
2. Enter your index number
3. Confirm your index number
4. Select the Exam type
5. Choose Exam year
6. Type in your serial number and PIN
7. Then submit. Wait for your results to load

What are the BECE result lies you must not tell or believe?

1. Don’t believe that someone’s BECE result changed after he or she checked it on the portal. It is a big lie.
2. Do not believe that someone’s result has been exchanged with that of another. It is a lie.
3. Do not believe any student who tells you he or she did better than the results attached to his or her name. That is a lie.
