New Video: Christian Atsu’s wife to the BBC: “I still pray and believe he’s alive”

The wife of Christian Atsu, the Ghanaian International Football Player has spoken to the BBC for the first time after the player got missing following the devastating earthquake that claimed over 20,000 lives.
She said, “I still pray and believe he’s alive”. According to her the news of him being found and taken to the Hospital and the change of the information barely 11 hours after has been the most difficult to comprehend for her and her children.
She called on the international community, the government of Turkey, and the UK government to rally support and help provide the needed equipment to help save other lives that are still living under the rubble of the Monday earthquake which measured 7.7 in magnitude.
At the time of the publication, Christian Atsu is still missing and unaccounted for. His building has been located and there are people under the rubble, but the necessary equipment needed to rescue them is not available. According to Astu’s partner, her children got the news that the earlier information that their dad have been rescued was incorrect.
