Sam George retained as Ningo Prampram Parliamentary Candidate
News coming in from the NDC Primaries at the Ningo Prampram Constituency is that Hon. Sam George has been retained as the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ningo Prampram for the upcoming 2024 Parliamentary elections.
Earlier in the day, Sam George granted an interview to GHOne TV monitored by GhanaEducation.org. He did indicate that he was confident that delegates won’t disappoint him today.
In a related development, two people have been arrested at the New Ningo D/A Basic School B polling station in the Ningo-Prampram constituency in the ongoing National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries.
The two reportedly attempted to influence the voting process.
They were said to be engaging delegates to convince them to vote for their preferred candidate, resulting in uneasy calm.
Ningo-Prampram Supporters of Michael Tetteh also disrupted the voting process earlier in the day. They claim persons who are not on the register have been allowed to vote. They insist they will not allow the process to continue until their concerns are addressed
