John Mahama’s Easter Message To Ghanaians
John Mahama’s Easter to Ghanaians is breaking the internet as Christians mark Easter across the nation.
The flag bearer of the biggest opposition party in Ghana John Mahama‘s powerful Easter message has become an annual ritual he never misses.
He called on all Ghanaians to reflect on the Holy sacrifice of Christ on the cross, which must compel us all to embrace and forgive one another.
His message to Ghanaians this year centred on the need to treat each other well and not to downplay the efforts and abilities of others.
His message reads.
John Mahama’s Easter Message – Full
They whipped him. They spat on him. They mocked him. They treated him like a criminal. Drained of all strength, they forced him to carry a heavy cross. And then, although he had committed no crime, they crucified him.
But bloodied and disgraced on the cross at Calvary, he, out of a pure heart, forgave them.
As we commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord on Good Friday, may we reflect on His gift of sacrifice and embrace his enduring lesson of forgiveness.
Let us forgive one another and move on in unity.
From my wife, Lordina, and I, we wish you a blessed and most glorious Easter.
The message he sent has been trending since it was published.
