1. Vatican City
Vatican City doesn’t have its own airport, most likely because it is included within Rome. Visitors fly into Rome and then drive into the small Roman Catholic country.
Vatican City, which has a populace of 800 people, also does not have a marine route for transportation. It is one of the few countries that can be walked through entirely.
2. Monaco
It is surrounded on three sides by France and on one by the Mediterranean Sea, Monaco has no airports. You’ll need to land in France and take a boat or a half-hour car ride to Monaco.
Monaco is the second-smallest country in the world and also holds the title for the world’s most populated sovereign state.
3. San Marino
San Marino is too small that commercial flights do not land there. But it has a more road networks that leads people out of the country, and grants access to Italy. One of the closest airports is that of Rimini, in Italy.
4. Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein is a country situated between Switzerland and Austria, that is, it surrounded on all 4 sides by land. Travellers arrive in here by flying into the neighbouring countries and using other transportation means, such as trains or cars.
The closest international airports to Liechtenstein are Zurich Airport and Altenrhein Airport in Switzerland.
5. Andorra
Located between France and Spain, Andorra also does not have its an airstrip for commercial flights.
