Check Out Wednesday’s Schedule For The 2023 BECE

Wednesday, 9th August, 2023 will be the third day for the 2023 BECE. Four papers have been written so far, which include; Religious and Moral Education (RME), English Language, Social Studies and Basic Design Technology (BDT).

Two papers will be written on Wednesday, 9th August, 2023. They include; Social Studies and Basic Design Technology (BDT). Social Studies will be written first followed by Ghanaian Language..

Social Studies 2 (Essay) will start at exactly 9.00 am and end at 10:00 a.m. Integrated Science 1 (Objective) will also start at 10:00 a.m. and end on 10:45am.

Candidates will now take a break from 10:45 am to 1:00pm.

Basic Design Technology paper will then begin at 1:00pm. However, candidates must be seated 30 minutes before that time. Ghanaian Language 2 (Essay) will start 1.00 p.m. and end at 2.15p.m. The Objectives will start at 2.15p.m and end at 2.55 p.m

The BECE began on Monday, 7th August, 2023. For the first time in history, there were more females than males. Over 600,000 candidates were registered. Ashanti region and the Greater Accra Region had the greatest number of candidates.

BASIC RULES FOR CANDIDATES

1. Tearing part of the question paper or answer booklet during the examination is against WAEC rules.
2. Refusing to submit worked script to the Supervisor after the examination is also against.
3. Starting to write an examination before commencement of work is officially announced OR continuing to write after official orders have been given for candidates to stop work.
4. Other irregular activities including but not limited to causing noise or disturbances within the immediate precincts of the examination hall before, during or after the examination.

Where a candidate is apprehended for offence(s) such as those listed above inside or outside the examination hall, the candidate’s entire results shall be withheld pending the outcome of investigation by the appropriate Committee of the Council
