Title: Marketing Manager – Exports

Job Summary

• The Manager will work collaboratively with the General Manager – Sales and Marketing and the wider sales and marketing team in the execution and evaluation of marketing strategies that contribute to growth of the sales in the export market within West Africa.
• A key focus of this role will be in implementing strategies to drive increased sales on the export markets.
• This will be achievedd through partnership management, development and execution of sales and marketing strategies

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for each export market
• Coordinate with the Marketing Department in the development and execution of marketing plans for each country
• Develop, apply and monitor the export sales and distribution budgets in relation to targeted profits, market share and overall directions
• Supervise price management (consumer price, trade margins, cost/price analysis), as well as investigate cost reduction measures to enhance product performance
• Achieve the best positioning for different products to maintain the most profitable product mix
• Supervise the planning and implementation of promotional activities in coordination with the marketing team to increase the company’s exports
• Participate in defining the sales channels targeted customers, coverage objective and the sales mix in each market/country
• Establish a positive and constructive business relationship with the agents/distributors in each market/country to achieve company objectives

Qualification Required & Experience

• 1General 5+ years working experience
• First Degree in French/Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Excellent user of different Microsoft Office tools
• A leader with excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience in working in the export francophone countries would be an added advantage
