Bono Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, Abronye DC, has lashed out at Kwame A Plus in his recent interview on Wontumi TV.
According to him, Kwame A Plus is now excessively criticising the government because he is bitter about being denied some of the privileges he used to get when President Akufo-Addo took office. He added that no one has benefited more than A Plus in the NPP

“The reason I don’t respond to you is that you are just bitter. You have benefited more than any person in the NPP” he said in Twi.
He also made it clear that Kwame A Plus did not help President Akufo Addo win power in 2016. He added that the campaign song that was composed by A Plus had no effect on the party. He challenged Kwame A-Plus to compose a campaign song for the CPP is he thinks his songs make party win elections.

“You are in this country and you said you are the one who consumed a campaign song for Akufo Addo and help him come to power. You wrote the song “Aben be bom”. And this your song helped NPP to come to power in 2016. If it is your song that brings people to Government, then CPP, which has been in opposition since 1966, why don’t you compose a song for them to come to power. Go and help CPP to come to power” he said
The NPP regional chairman added, “You were receiving fuel from the castle but I stopped you. When the NPP came to power, because you had followed the party for a while, you go to the harbour to seize goods in the name of the government. Today the customs officers are free”.
