LPG Organizer Warns NDC to Beware of Alleged PPP Defectors in Bono Region

This caution comes in response to reports of PPP executives and members from the Bono Regional branch announcing their defection to the NDC, with the event attended by NDC Chairman Johnson Aseidu Nketiah.
Speaking on Atinka TV’s Oman Mu Nsem show, the LPG Organizer, known as Baron, expressed skepticism about the number of votes claimed by the PPP defectors. He pointed out that the PPP received significantly fewer votes in the Bono region during the previous election than what was suggested by the defection claims. Baron urged the NDC to exercise caution in welcoming these alleged defectors, as he questioned the credibility of their claims.

He noted that the PPP’s influence in the region appeared limited, emphasizing that the numbers put forward by the defectors did not align with the party’s performance in the previous election. Baron suggested that the regional chairman may have gathered a crowd for the defection agenda, but he advised the NDC to scrutinize the situation carefully and not consider it a major threat.

Lucious rejected claims that they were influenced by the NDC to switch parties, stating that their decision was solely driven by their love for the country.
