We have the 2023 WASSCE result release latest update for all candidates anxiously waiting for their result.

In the absence of any technical delays, WAEC is expected to release the results of the 2023 WASSCE for school candidates before Saturday, December 16, 2023.

The latest 2023 WASSCE result release update

We project the WASSCE (SC) results will be released in the next 72 hours.

Per the workings of WAEC, the release of results for WASSCE and BECE is preceded by the release of result checking cards (Result Checkers).

At the time of this publication, Ghana Education News can reliably confirm that WAEC has released new result checker cards in addition to old supplies to ensure all students are able to buy the checkers and to check their examination outcomes once the results go live.

The latest 2023 WASSCE result release update is again that the result will be checked on www.ghana.waecdirect.org.

The final update expected is for WAEC to add the year 2023 to the set of years on its portal, and then that will be followed by the release of the results.

Upon the release of the results, students can check online; however, the following are projected to happen:

1. Some students will have their results withheld by WAEC.
2. Other results will be cancelled (subject-based cancellation or all subjects).
3. The WAEC is likely to withhold some entire school results.
4. At least 30% of candidates will fail in each subject.
5. At least 45% of candidates will pass in each of the core subjects.

All the above will determine which candidates will be able to complete their admission process on the various university portals and gain admission.

As all candidates wait for the release of their results, it is prudent that they stay calm and positive. At best, pray for the best results. However, those who did not write well know the subjects they are most likely to fail in. All the best as we all wait for the release of the 2023 WASSCE results.

How to Check 2023 WASSCE (School Candidates)

1. Go to https://ghana.waecdirect.org/
2. Enter your index number.
3. Select the type of examination (e.g., WASSCE).
   
4. Select your examination year, e.g., 2003.
5. Enter the serial number found on the voucher.
6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your voucher, e.g., 012345678912.
7. Confirm your index number and examination year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
8. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the pop-up window. This may take several minutes.
