The management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced new changes to the 2023/2024 admission process for 2023 WASSCE graduates ahead of the release of the 2023 WASSCE result by the West African Examination Council.

University officials have announced that, following the announcement of the 2023 WASSCE results, applicants to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will have a few days to update their application online. This means that all candidate who applied for admission into KNUST must check their WASSCE results and then update and complete their admission process on the KNUST admission portal.
A student who delays in updating within the period stipulated by KNUST is not likely to be admitted into any programme even if he or she passes the WASSCE.
This announcement follows word from a representative of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), who said that in the second week of December 2023, his WAEC will make public the tentative results of the 2023 WASSCE. Per reliable information available to Ghana Education News, the release of the 2023 WASSCE result will not go beyond 16th December 2023. Thus the results will be out on or before 16th December.
According to an interview Mr. John Kapi, Head of Public Affairs of WAEC, stated that his organization is working continuously to deliver the results of the 2023 WASSCE for School examinations before the deadline of December 14, 2023.
How to check 2023/2024 KNUST fees
The following are steps to access the placement and the amount you are to pay when you log into your students’ portal.
1. Log onto the KNUST Student Portal
2. Sign in with your student credentials (Username, Password, and Reference number)
3. At the KNUST Student Portal dashboard, click on Bills and Payment
4. You will see how much you are required to pay.
KNUST Cut-Off Points 2023/2024 For All Courses
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST cut-off point for WASSCE candidates is 36. While for SSCE candidates is 24. Candidates who score below the cut-off point will not be considered for admission.
