Robert needs OUR HELP to win the battle against cancer which led to the amputation of his left arm (Watch the moving video and donate)

Help Robert Fight Cancer’s Return. Robert needs our help to win the battle against cancer, which led to the amputation of his left arm. His plight was shared by Kobby Kyei on his Twitter handle.

In the vibrant city of Accra, beneath the warm Ghanaian sun, lives Mr. Ahiaku Robert, a man whose spirit shines brighter than the challenges he faces. In 2020, a cruel twist of fate took his left hand, stolen by the harsh grip of cancer. But Robert, ever resilient, picked up the pieces and moved forward, his smile unwavering.

Yet, life throws curveballs, and recently, intense pain and blood bleeding have forced him back into the ring with another fight. The battleground this time is the 37 Military Hospital, where Robert grapples with medical bills that threaten to pin him down.

Imagine, for a moment, the world without your dominant hand. The simple act of holding a cup, the comforting clasp of a loved one, the ability to write, to create, to work – all become daunting tasks. Now, layer upon that is the gnawing worry of mounting medical bills, the fear that the very treatment meant to heal could push him deeper into financial despair.

This is Robert’s reality. But amidst the hardship, a beacon of hope remains – the human spirit’s unwavering capacity for compassion. I stand before you today, not just as a storyteller, but as a bridge, urging you to reach out and support Robert.

Every cedi donated is a brick laid on the path to his recovery. It whispers a message of solidarity, reminding him that he is not alone in this fight. It empowers him to face his medical journey with dignity and hope.
