The National Teaching Council (NTC) will from Monday, July 12, 2021, cease to receive applications for consideration for reforms aimed at dealing with challenges confronting the conduct of the NTC teacher licensure examination.
NTC teacher licensure exam review
This the NTC believes will offer all stakeholders an opportunity to make inputs to help address issues confronting the examination three years after it was started.
The NTC called for inputs on June 25, 2021, to help it better administer the NTC teacher licensure examination. The deadline which was communicated by the NTC for submission of the application is Monday, July 12, 2021.
The current NTC teacher licensure examination was introduced in 2018. It has the sole aim of identifying suitable candidates (teachers) qualified for the issuance of professional licenses, which will enable such teachers to administer education in classrooms.
According to the current policy, the professional license is the highest mark of professional accomplishment of teachers at the Pre-tertiary level in Ghana.
