The Ghana Education Service (GES) has begun the 2021/22 academic inter-regional and inter/Intra district reposting of employees of the service.
The service will post all teachers who are released by the various Regional Director after the Director-General of GES approval.
The Ghana Education Service in a post sighted by Ghanaeducation.org directed all school heads to make known vacancies for teachers in their schools known to their respective District Directors for District Directors. The data collated is to be forwarded to the Regional Directors for onward transmission to the Director HR, Ghana Education Service (GES) headquarters.
Applicants or teachers seeking to be reposted to another school within the District GES are to write to the District Director with attaching to his/her current payslip, personal record form, certificates, bank clearance.
This the Service said will indicate his or her willingness to move his/her current school to another school within the same district. District Directors following the confirmation will issue an assurance letter or otherwise to the applicant.

All teachers seeking reposting must know and follow the procedures set out by the GES for processing such requests.

“A teacher seeking inter Regional posting can only be released by the Regional Director after the Director-General has given final approval to the applicant. All approve reposting takes effect January 2022,” GES stated in the post.
