Twitter is on fire as the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) gains popularity as the “New Poison Party” following the alleged poisoning of Dr. John Kuma, leading to his death.
Captain Smart and others have made a number of compelling claims regarding the allegation, despite the fact that they are unsubstantiated.
The Vice President allegedly suffered from poisoning in 2018, which almost resulted in his death if he hadn’t sought medical attention in the UK, according to Captain Smart, who made the claim. This may have contributed to the “New Poison Party” trend on Twitter.
The rumour that Dr. John Kumah was poisoned seems to be gaining public acceptance, and many are asking questions.
Captain Smart of Onua TV has disclosed that Dr. Bawumia was poisoned in 2018 during his usual programme on Onua TV. He stated that the Vice President was poisoned, leading to his seeking urgent medical attention in the UK after efforts by local experienced doctors failed due to the lack of the needed medical equipment to deal with the situation.

Following the death of the Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. John Kuma, his close friend and ally, whom Captain Smart alleged was also poisoned, Chairman Wontumi delivered a coded message that suggests that he had been in a similar situation. A section of his message, “I remember how you stood by my side and ensured that I survived at the time that I was helplessly dying,” has caught the attention of Ghanaians who have read the meanings of Chairman Wontumi’s cryptic message.

My good friend and brother John Kumah. My heart is heavy. My eyes are full of tears. I am devastated and distraught. I have been struggling to find the appropriate words to describe how I feel right now because I know how you would have reacted if I were in your position. It is a mixed feeling of disbelief and shock. And this unfortunate news takes me back to some few months ago.
I remember how you stood by my side and ensured that I survived at the time that I was helplessly dying. Little did I know that I was going to survive only for me to be confronted with this devastating news of your passing months later.
I have lost a loyal friend and faithful brother whose loss is simply irreplaceable, not only to me but to the region as well.
Rest well, my brother. We will surely meet in heaven one day.
