Griffith University applicants are invited to apply for the Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2024 (GUIPRS), which is available during the University’s annual Ph.D. and Research degree scholarship application period.

Griffith institution is a public research institution located in South East Queensland, Australia’s east coast. Griffith was formed in 1971 and opened its doors in 1975, offering Australia’s first degrees. The GUIPRS will fund the applicant’s tuition fees for up to three years for doctoral candidates and two years for research master’s candidates.

Eligibility
1) To qualify for a GUIPRS, an applicant must:
Not be a domestic student, which is defined as a student who is an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent residence or holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian visa, or a New Zealand citizen; and
Applicants must be enrolled or starting an HDR program at Griffith University and eligible for GUIPRS assistance.
2) A GUIPRS will not be provided to an applicant who is already receiving an equivalent Commonwealth Government award or scholarship to help pay for HDR program tuition.

Griffith University Scholarships for International Students are valid for up to two years for a research master’s program and three years for a doctoral program. Doctoral applicants may be given a six-month extension under certain circumstances.
How to apply
New applicants must complete the online application for a higher degree by research program, which includes a section for scholarship applications.
Present research candidates or applicants with a present offer (that has not yet begun) must follow a different approach to submit a scholarship application.
Applicants may only apply for the scholarship ranking and selection procedure twice per five-year period.
