Ghana Education News | University of Ghana 2021 congregation postponed to January 2022 instead of it being held in December 2021.
The University of Ghana made this known in its revised academic calendar for the year 2021. It indicated that there will be no graduation event in 2021 for final year students at the University of Ghana due to a last-minute change in the university management’s decision.
Instead of taking place from Monday, December 6, 2021, to Friday, December 10, 2021, as originally planned, the ceremony will be held from Tuesday, January 11, 2022, to Saturday, January 15, 2022, instead.
In the amended academic schedule for the 2020/2021 academic year, the university’s administration made this clear.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s ceremony is likely to be virtual, like it was last year and the two years before.
In 2021, the University hosted a virtual convocation event for Law and Medical students on July 30, 2021, through the Internet.
