Accounts and Finance Analyst
Missions :
- Develop a 5 year strategic action plan on how you will effectively discharge your duties as the Analyst (Finance & Accounts).
- Responsible for the day to day activities on Finance, budgeting and accounting administration.
- Advise Management on Investment and financial matters.
- Comply with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Review employee’s payment plan including SSF contribution, welfare and provident fund etc.
- Review accounting and budgeting administration manual for payment vouchers which also includes accounting software.
- Ensure that the finance and accounting systems in the company are well organized and in line with International Financial and accounting standards.
- Review our finance and risk policy for the company and advise the Chief Executive Officer in all accounting and risk management mechanisms when necessary.
- Monitor budget allocations, expenditure, fund balances and related financial activities for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate, revenues are recorded, expenses are within budget limits and /fiscal practices are followed.
- Assist departments in writing special departmental accounting reports.
- Prepare periodic statements of variance analysis.
- Manage Tax and tax related issues.
- Negotiate issues of financial matters on behalf of the company.
- Ensure effective documentation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Preparation of periodic set of financial statements, as required by Management and Law, and liaising with external auditors on all statutory audits.
- Review and implement accounting and internal control systems and monitor people and work activities to ensure compliance to such systems.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Prepare and analyse cash flow forecasts, business plans and financial models.
- Prepare cash flow projections to model business processes for actual or hypothetical transactions.
- Assist with financial model for potential merger and acquisition.
- Assist with liquidation and valuation analysis
- Develop inception reports/state of company affairs of clients.
- Preparation and participation in company presentations and new business presentations.
- Submit regular reports on the performance of business projects.
- Any other duty assigned by management.
- Second Degree in Accountancy, Finance, OR
- Membership of a recognized Professional Accountancy Body e.g. ACCA, ICA
- Five year extensive experience in Finance and Accounts or related field.
