Afua is DISQUALIFIED for breaking Guinness World Records rules: BongoIdeas vindicated
Afua is DISQUALIFIED for breaking Guinness World Records rules. Yes, she has, but months before that, Bongo Ideas predicted she would be disqualified and outlined the reasons, which we published in this very post.
Albert Nat Hyde, also known as BongoIdeas, has indicated that going by the Guinness World Records rules, Efua is disqualified from the Guinness World Record. The controversial social media commentator indicated that, per his understanding of the rules governing the Sing-a-thon, Afua broke many of the rules.
According to BongoIdeas, Afua murmured most of the songs she sang and repeated several songs in the space of four hours. He cited the song Freedom as one such song. He added that she also sang some songs for more than two minutes; however, the rules say each song must be sung for at least two minutes; hence, some commentators have descended on him for his negative energy and comments on nearly everything in Ghana.
Per these infractions, her attempt might just be a fruitless one. Do not be surprised when she’s rejected!
Below are the full reasons given by BongoIdeas on his Twitter page.
Going by the Guinness World Records rules; Efua is DISQUALIFIED:
▪️She just murmured to most of the songs and did not actually sing them (lyrics)
▪️She repeated several songs in the space of 4 hours e.g: Freedom
▪️She performed most of the songs for more than 2 minutes
▪️She took more breaks than expected
▪️She, at most times, failed to sing continuously for 30+ secs without a pause
▪️Most of the songs performed are not recognisable by
@GWR
▪️She was not supposed to jam, & she did!
Per these infractions, her attempt might just be a fruitless attempt. Do not be surprised when she’s rejected!
