All That They Are Saying About Me Is Not True – Ken Ofori Atta Speaks.

The Minority in parliament and a section of Ghanaians want Ken Ofori Atta sacked from office. The hardship and economic challenges in the country are getting intense. Ghanaians are suffering and they want to see a change in the economy.

The minority presented several allegations against Ken Ofori Atta and the need to remove him from office as the finance minister of our country. The speaker of parliament then referred the case to an Adhoc committee to look into the matter for seven days.

Ken Ofori Atta appeared before the committee to defend himself. Speaking to the committee, Ken Ofori Atta made it clear that, all the allegations leveled against him are completely false.

” We did not use any money from the contingency fund to build the National Cathedral. The National Cathedral does not belongs to the president. It belongs to the state. No illegal fund from the contingency fund was used for National Cathedral without the contingency vote”. – Ken Ofori Atta Stated.

The current finance minister has been in office since 2017 till date. He was appointed by the incumbent president His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo.
