In a shocking turn of events, the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region – Aputuogya, witnessed the arrest of two notorious suspects identified as Demon Town and his accomplice, following the circulation of a viral video in which they brandished weapons and issued threats to stab anyone resisting their attempts to snatch items.

The alarming video captured one of the suspects boldly declaring, “Have you seen the bag behind me? We are going to gather and deposit you in there. For pistol for real, if you don’t leave it, we are stabbing you.” The menacing duo, self-identified as Aputuogya gangsters, displayed a dangerous demeanor, threatening to stab anyone who dared to resist them.

Swift action was taken by the Kuntenase District Police Patrol team, prompted by a tip-off, leading to a raid on a house in Aputuogya suspected to be harboring the two criminals. The town folks, having earlier discovered the suspects, took matters into their own hands by raiding the house and subsequently handing over one of the suspects, 23-year-old Ibrahim Mohammed, to the police.

During interrogation, Ibrahim claimed to hail from Adansi Fomena Kusa but revealed that he currently resides in Madina, Accra. He asserted that he was invited to the Bosomtwe District by his accomplice, Kwame Sarpong, a distant family member, approximately a month ago.

The unemployed accomplice, who had initially evaded arrest, was successfully apprehended by the police. The authorities have also indicated their intention to interrogate the owner of the house where the suspects were found.

The Ghana Police Service has been praised for its swift response to the situation, with citizens expressing confidence in the law enforcement agency’s ability to handle such cases promptly. The suspect, Ibrahim Mohammed, is expected to face legal consequences as he is set to be arraigned before court.
