Bawumia’s Camp Will Be Disappointed After Seeing What Ashanti Region Did To Alan Kyeremanten
After Nana Addo recently made some unpleasant comments to the people in Ashanti Region, the general prediction was that the Ashanti Region will gradually depart from following the NPP. Shockingly, that is not the case. It was and is still very clear that the people in Ashanti Region were not very pleased with the comments from the President. But they know there is nothing they can do about it.
That notwithstanding, they are rooting for another candidate to lead the country come 2024. This became very obvious after some videos taken in Ashanti Region went viral. In the video, a large group of people spotted on live camera, mobbed the Trade Minister and Presidential Hopeful, Alan Kyeremanten. The group of people surrounding the Trade Minister was engineers. They kept on chanting Alan’s name.

“Alan, what can we do for you? You are very excellent”, they chanted in their local dialect. Clearly, Alan Kyeremanten has a massive support base in the Ashanti region. And this was the reason. Even amidst the angry atmosphere which has been created by the President in the Ashanti region, the people are still rooting for Alan. It is also logical to make this conclusion: Once Ghanaians are angry with President Nana Addo, Ghanaians are also angry with Dr. Bawumia.
