BECE starts Monday, GES warns against exam malpractice

The latest Ghana Education News is that BECE starts Monday and GES warns against exam malpractice.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has warned all stakeholders involved in the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) to desist from any form of examination malpractice. The GES in a press release said the 2021 BECE will start from Monday, November 15, 2021, and end on Friday, November 19, 2021, at all the designated 2,158 centres across the country. The GES also congratulated all the 571,894 candidates who will sit the exam.

PRESS RELEASE

COMMENCEMENT OF BECE 2021

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to remind particularly. Candidates. Teachers, Heads of Basic Schools, Directors of Education and the general public that the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) will start from Monday 15th November 2021 to Friday 19th November 2021 at all the designated 2,158 Centres across the country.

Management of GES wishes to congratulate all 571,894 Candidates involved for their hard work and fortitude so far and to also express its profound gratitude to all Teachers, Heads of Basic Schools, Directors of Education, Parents / Guardians and all Stakeholders for the crucial roles they have played so far in preparing the candidates for the examination.

Candidates, Invigilators, Supervisors, Schools Authorities, teachers and parents are advised to desist from any form of examination malpractice. GES, WAEC and the Security Services are working jointly to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations at all the centres across the country.

Additionally, Supervisors and Invigilators are to ensure strict adherence to the Covid protocols at all centres.
