Business Development Officer

Duties

• Lead in the product development
• Collaborate with Head of ICT in the Bank’s digitalization drive
• Spearhead the product price reviews and other charges based on market findings
• Spearhead promotion of the bank, its products, people and service
• Lead in product distribution strategies including branch network expansion
• Conduct market research on competitors to stay current with products or services on the market
• Develop marketing strategies that attract new customers and retain the existing clients
• Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the products or service

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Accounting / Banking & Finance/Marketing / Management and other relevant disciplines from a recognized university
• Professional qualification in relevant field would be an added advantage
• High level of professionalism and impeccable record of integrity and strong leadership and team building skills
• These are key management positions and require minimum of 8 years banking experience in similar role
• Strong computer literacy skills and in-depth knowledge in the use of T24 Banking
