CAGD No Longer Accept Black And White Photocopies Of ID Cards For Loan Processing
Teachers fund,a retirement supplement and solidarity scheme is sending message to all Ghanaian teachers that the scheme no longer accept black and white phocopies of ID Cards for Loan Processing.
According to the scheme, the Controller and Acccontant General’s Department is currently rejecting black and white photocopies of ID Cards. As a result, the scheme is also forced to implement same. For this reason, all affected members will be sent a message to resubmit a colored ID Card inorder for CAGD to process their loans.
This is to inform you that CAGD is rejecting Black & White photocopies of
National ID Cards for loan processing. This has delayed the approval process for loans. A message will be sent to all the affected members with a link to resubmit colored copies of their National ID Cards. Please, kindly assist all affected members who will nced your assistance to resubmit coloured copies of their National ID Cards to expedite the approval process of their loans.
In addition, the Fund will appreciate it, if you informed all members to attach
colored photocopies of their national IDs for all transactions with the Fund.

The Teachers Fund is a retirement supplement and Solidarity scheme for the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) established by a Trust Deed in May 1998.

The tremendous growth in assets is largely attributed to the commitment on the part of members (teachers) to invest towards their retirement and the Fund’s commitment to ensuring good returns on investment.
The objectives of the Fund are:
1. Retirement supplement – the monthly contributions are savings for the members. These are invested to generate returns. Upon retirement, a member receives a package made up of the total amount he has contributed over the years and the returns thereon.
2. Provision of lifestyle enhancing facilities – the Fund offers four categories of loan to its members with the view to enhancing their lifestyles and ensuring that they live comfortably. These are Personal Loan, Investment Capital Loan, Habitat Loan and Vehicle Loan.
