CAGD Salary Payment Dates for 2024 Announced (Full Details)
CAGD salary payment dates for 2024 have been announced for the attention of all public sector workers in Ghana.
The salary payment dates for the months of 2024 for salaried workers on the Government of Ghana’s payroll system have been released by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.
In a memo we have, signed by Kwasi Kwaning-Bosompem, Ag. Controller and Accountant-General, all parties and stakeholders are to take note of this announcement.
“The memo said that civil servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES), and all other public servants who work for the Controller and Accountant-Generals Department in 2024 will get their salaries and wages on the dates indicated below.”.

In January and February 2024, civil servants, the Ghana Education Service, and all other public servants will be paid on the 22nd, while in October they will be paid on the 24th.
The payment dates for April, July, and November will be on the 25th, and the payment dates for March and September will be on the 26th.
On the 27th, May, June, and August 2024, salaries will be paid, while December will be paid on the 19th. The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees on the dates indicated above.
The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has assured that any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies, and respective banks.
