Nursing is a professional health program read at the university. Nursing programs mostly accepts students with a science background. Almost non-science students are rejected to read nursing at the tertiary level.

Which Universities Accepts General Arts Students Unto Their Nursing Program?
There are a few universities across the nation that do that. Prominent universities and colleges that accept general arts students unto their nursing program includes:
- Family Health University College
- University of Cape Coast
- KAAF University College
The above universities have their different requirements for their nursing programs. KAAF university college requires every WASSCE applicant to have an overall aggregate of 36 or even better with the inclusion of three core subjects (at least C6).
