Chaos In Ghana’s Education Under American Educationist And Founder Of Charter Schools As Minister Of Education
Teaser: Do you know teachers do not know whether they should manually or electronically write lesson notes?
The honourable minister of education had on several occasions spoken in favour of writing lesson notes electronically but his comments on the topic on such occasions are just like the mere expression of thought or wish without any specifics as we were thought our agenda/goal/plans must be SMART. In this case, the interest is in the ‘T’ (which is Time-bound). The minister seems helpless as to whether to carry out this beneficial reform. More so, does American teachers write lesson notes manually?
Monitoring events from both teachers social media platforms and mainstream media outlets, it seems teachers do not know the number of hours they are to do in school a day. The change in daily school hours came with the introduction of the semester system which was long reversed. However, the press release announcing the semester reversal did not say anything about the daily hours that saw a lot of apprehension among stakeholders. Out of nowhere, there was a school timetable which showed some reduction in daily hours from 8:30 hours to 7:30 hours. As of today on major teachers platforms, there are reports of confusion and arguments among staff about the actual daily hours to run. The honourable ministers should know this can not be accepted in America where here is quick to reference.

The minister should try not to speak about things he can not see implemented because it is degrading his ability, integrity and charisma he came with.
