Salaries Of Degree Teachers In Ghana Under GES.
One of the most complex issues on social media has to do with the salaries of Teachers. Despite being in the same profession, that does not mean all teachers are taking the same salaries. The Salaries of Degree teachers differ from that of Diploma Teachers and those with certificates A and Certificate B.
We discuss or unveil the actual salaries for Degree teachers. Degree teachers are those who have advanced their educational carrier over the diploma certificate. The newly trained teachers under His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo are now degree teachers. They have been equipped with professional skills and methodologies to teach the young generations.
Newly Employed teachers at Ghana Education Service (GES) with degree certificates take a gross salary ranging from ¢2,800 to ¢3,050. The 2023 base pay increment has pushed the salary of newly employed diploma teachers up to GHS 2.239.96. The salary range of Senior Superintendent Il staff is between GHS 2,066.49 (Low) and GHS 2,428.69.2 days ago.
However, despite having the same certificate, some degree teachers can take higher salaries over some other teachers depending on the rank of the teacher and also the period of experience and promotion.
