An official of the Turkish Club where Christian Atsu plays has disclosed that there was a mistaken identity and that the Ghanaian international player is still not found. Some 48 hours ago, news broke that, Christian Atsu has been rescued alive from the rubble after the 7.7 earthquakes that flattened several story buildings and claimed over 5000 lives.
This morning, the Ghanaeducation.org sports team published an update on the player after the narrative that the player was receiving treatment in a hospital turned out to be false.

Albert Nat Hyde also known as @BongoIdeas has called out sports journalist Saddick Adams for publishing fake updates. BongoIdeas described the journalist as a fraud sports journalist in a Tweet sighted by this portal. He called on the journalist to apologize for his false reports on the player.
“Saddick Adams is a fraud of a sports journalist. Always in a rush to publish news without verifying/cross-checking, so he could be praised for being the “first to break it.” He gave false reportage on Christian Atsu and must apologize, retract the post, or find a new profession!” The Tweet said.
According to Curbey Kohveci, the Hatayspor Club Director, when they heard of the news that he has been found and taken to Dortyol Hospital, they went and looked for him. However, he was not there. Currently, the club has indicated that Brother Tarner and Christian Atsu have not been found.
The news that Christian Atsu has been found might have slowed down efforts to rescue him alive from the rubble.
The search for Christian Atsu continues. God save us
