There has been some changes in the 2023 academic calendar for all double track senior high schools in the country.

According to the 2023 Transitional Academic Calendar for Double Track Senior High Schools (SHS), Form Threes who commenced the academic year on  January 10, 2023 will be going on break on April 05, 2023. This date has not changed.

For Form Twos in the same category, who are currently on break, are expected to resume on April 11, 2023. They will then go on break on June 1, 2023. This date has also not changed

However, Form Ones in the same category who began their first semester on February 20 2023 and are expected to go on break/vacation on April 13, 2023.

News coming in indicates that the form one students in double Track schools will be going on Easter break just as the form three students. Form one students will break on Wednesday, 5th April, 2023 and are expected to resume on 9th June, 2023.

WHAT ABOUT SINGLE TRACK SCHOOLS

According to the 2023 academic calendar for single track Senior High Schools, Form Three students, who commenced on January 10, 2023 will go on break on April 05, 2023. Students are expected to resume on April 17, 2023.

The Form Twos of the same category will
also break on April 05, 2023. Students will be at home from April 06, 2023 to April 16, 2023. The second semester will start from April 17, 2023 to August 25, 2023.

The Form Ones will also run two term just as the Form Twos, and will also be on break on April 05, 2023. Students will be at home from April 06, 2023 to April 16, 2023. The second term will start from April 17, 2023 to September 15, 2023.

WHAT ABOUT BASIC SCHOOLS

Basic Schools in Ghana are currently on vacation. The second term starts from April 03, 2023 to June 15, 2023 and breaks from June 16, 2023 to June 26, 2023; with the third term starting from June 27, 2023 to September 14, 2023.
