EC to Declare 2024 Presidential Election Results At 4:30 PM

The electoral commission will officially announce the 2024 presidential election result at 4:30 pm on Monday, 9th December 2024.
The EC, while announcing the time for the declaration of the result, disclosed that it had received presidential election results from 13 regional collation centres and will go ahead to declare the results.
This decision means that all pending results, if added to the results of any of the other contesting candidates, will not change the outcome of the result.
Prior to the declaration, the Vice President and candidate for the New Partriotic Party, Dr. Bawumia, has already called the NDC flag bearer and former President of Ghana, John Mahama to congratulate him and also concede defeat.
