Edinaman SHS grabs attention with perfection riddle round to secure fourth NSMQ qualification slot

The 2025 Central Regional contestants of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) are keeping up very hard, and Edinaman SHS secure fourth NSMQ qualification slot in interesting style. In a competition that involved five schools competing directly with eachother, Edinaman SHS took an early interval to reign the last round and eliminate all contest with a purposeful riddle performance.

The first round commenced on a well-tune, with all five schools, Edinaman SHS, Dunkwa SHTS, SDA SHS (Gomoa), Abakrampa SHTS, and T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS (Ekumfi), properly giving right answers to their opening questions. But as the round proceeded, main questions for schools became bonus chances for other schools.

When the first round came to an end, Dunkwa SHTS was on top with 17 points, SDA SHS came after with 14, Edinaman SHS had 13, while Abakrampa and T.I. Ahmadiyya both followed with 11 points.

During the speed race round, Edinaman SHS speeded up shooting for most of the questions. Despite that they answered some few questions wrongly, their courage settled them some points. As the second round came to an end, they had led with 19 points, pulling ahead Dunkwa SHTS, who came after with 16 points. SDA SHS, Abakrampa, and T.I. Ahmadiyya finished the round with 13, 10, and 9 points, respectively.

In the True or False round Edinaman SHS and Dunkwa SHTS  continued their boost. Edinaman SHSfinished round three at the top with 29 points, Dunkwa followed with 26 points, while Abakrampa came up to 23. SDA SHS, Gomoa and T.I. Ahmadiyya followed with 17 and 13 points respectively.

But it was the riddle round that secured Edinaman’s win in interesting style. They sounded for all four riddles and correctly answered every single one. That 12-point increase pushed their their total to 41 points, closing the door on other contestants they were competing who finished the competition with the same points they possessed in the third round.

None of the schools in the competition had more than the 40-point, this showing that for the rest, the journey ends here. With this victory, Edinaman SHS Edinaman SHS secure fourth National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) qualification slot to make a reservation in the Central Regional championship and in the national championship as well. The stage is heating up, and with more competitions to come, the huge question at the moment is: which school is rises next?
