Education Minister Allegedly Caught Selling Wesley Girls Slots For GH¢7,000

According to a recent exposé by Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, reportedly accepted 7,000 from certain organizations in order to enroll their children in category “A” schools like Wesley Girls.
The automated school placement system has allegedly been used in several incidences of fraud.
This led to the portal’s access being restricted to the Education Minister and the Director of GES exclusively, with the declared intention of reducing the system’s significant corruption.
The director, Prof. Opoku Amankwa, announced shortly after that he had been denied access to the site, leaving only the Education Minister with that ability.
The corruption, according to the GES Director, didn’t end, however. He pointed to one instance where it was claimed that GHS 7, 000 had been paid to enroll a student at Wesley Girls or Achimota School.
Surprisingly, inquiries into the portal revealed that the Hon. Minister’s access—which was being managed by Ms. Vera Amoah—was used to carry out this specific fraudulent placement.
Surprisingly, GH7,000 was purportedly put into the account of the Education Minister to pay for placement for Wesley Girls and Achimota.
The inquiry found that “Prof Amankwah continued to claim that later, his authorization to the log port on the placement system was restricted and he could not track and act on complaints that came in subsequently.”
Further inquiry revealed allegations that the Free SHS coordinator and the Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, conspired to sell placements at prices of up to 7000 cedis per student.
The Free SHS Coordinator and the Hon. Ministers both sign a note giving the consultant guidelines on how to allocate certain personnel protocol access.

Is this allegations true ? The education minister should come out because I don’t think the Minister’s too low.
It is likely there are lots of rots for you to unveil.
Check on the grades ( eg if A or 1) against the scores (eg 90%) to see if there are good coherency or match in it.
Good job. Keep it up.
