Education Minister And GES Director Praises Teachers In The Following Schools
The minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and the director general of the Ghana Education Service, Dr Eric Nkansah paid an unannounced visit to some schools in the Eastern region on Monday, 20th March, 2023.
The unannounced visit was part of the minister’s regular tour of schools to ascertain the first-hand state of affairs in the school, interact with them and also share the vision of the government on education in the country.
Dr. Adutwum, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe, enumerated the various interventions the government was putting in place to improve the nation’s economy through education development.
Again, he said the government is currently doing everything possible to ensure that students get the best support to enhance effective teaching and learning in all schools across the country.
The Education Minister used the opportunity to share breakfast with the students who were very excited seeing the minister sharing breakfast with them.

The minister and the GES Director, both heaped praises on teachers in the following schools for their great work.
- Methodist Girls Senior High School, Mamfe.
- Mampong-Akuapim Senior High Technical School for the Deaf.
- Demonstration School for the Deaf, Mampong-Akuapim.
- Presbyterian Senior High School, Mampong-Akwapim.
- Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.
- Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi.
- Presbyterian Junior High School, Aburi.

The Director-General of GES, Dr Eric Nkansah joined the Honorable Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Eastern Regional Minister and Heads of other Agencies of the Ministry of Education to pay an unannounced visit to some schools in the Eastern Region on Monday 20th March 2023.
The schools visited were:
1. Methodist Girls Senior High School, Mamfe.
2. Mampong-Akuapim Senior High Technical School for the Deaf.
3. Demonstration School for the Deaf, Mampong-Akuapim.
4. Presbyterian Senior High School, Mampong-Akwapim.
5. Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.
6. Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi.
7. Presbyterian Junior High School, Aburi.During the visit, the team observed classroom lessons and shared words of encouragement with the students.
They also inspected school facilities and the Honorable Minister pledged to facilitate the provision of some new facilities where necessary.
Their observations during the visit are a testament to the great work our teachers are doing in these schools.
