The Ministry of Education is expected to release the match anticipated BECE school placement 2023 for graduates who sat the October 2022 examination. We shall help students and parents answer some of the questions that have been asked several times on our social media handles.

FAQs on 2022/2023 School Placement.

#1. Is the BECE school placement out?

When will the 2023 school placement be out? At the time of this publication, the MoE and GES were yet to officially communicate the exact date for the release of the school placement. The MoE is expected to provide more details on the school placement from Monday 13th February 2023.

It is projected that the school placement will be released from 13th February 2023 so that students can report to school on 20th February 2023.

#2. Is the placement portal live?

Before this publication, we checked the portal for checking the placement and can confirm that, at the time of this publication, the portal was off the internet and not accessible. It is the usual practice that the portal goes off when the school placement system is being worked on.

#3. How to check 2022/2023 school placement on the phone

The school placement details can only be accessed when it is live on the site https://cssps.gov.gh.

Once it is out, you can check on the phone by following the procedure below.

1. Log on to the placement portal https://cssps.gov.gh/
2. Provide the details required (Index Number) which should end with 22. The 22 represents the year in which you sat for the BECE.
3. Enter the Serial Number on your placement checker
4. Enter the PIN on your placement checker
5. Click enter or submit and wait for the placement to load.

#4. How to buy the 2023 school placement checker online

To buy the placement card online from Ghanaeducation.org

1. Chat with us on WhatsApp when the school placement is out.
2. Leave the CODE: PL022
3. We shall provide you with details to pay for the checker online or directly to our Momo
4. Provide us with the Transaction ID and the Name on the Momo

#5. Can I use the Self-Placement Module if I am not placed?

Yes and No. Only students who obtained the pass mark or raw score but missed all six choices can do the self-placement. The self-placement can be done only if the system gives you that option.

#6. Can I change the school I am automatically placed in?

No, students cannot alter the school into which they have been placed automatically. Furthermore, note that students who opted for the cluster option may be placed automatically in other schools they did not choose but belong to the school categories they chose.

#7. Can I change the Programme I am offered after I enrol in the school?
