Education Minister cuts sods for two 21st Century STEM Model JHSs

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Minister for Education, and his Deputy Rev Ntim Fordjour have cut sod for the construction of 21st Century Model JHS for the people of Abenase.

Present at the sod-cutting ceremony was Hon Dr. John Kumah (MP for Ejisu Constituency & Deputy Minister for Finance) and Chiefs of Abenase.

The team cut a second sod for the construction of another 21st Century Model JHS where STEM will be the focus of learning. The Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng (MP for Juaben Constituency & Deputy Minister for Communications & Digitalisation) and Chiefs of Juaben witnessed the sward cutting.

Phase I of each of the 21st Century STEM Model JHS project comprises 10 classrooms, 4 science laboratories, including 1 robotics lab, 1 computer science lab, well as library and Administration Offices.

These projects when completed will give true meaning to secondary education at the lower level, for improved education outcomes.
