Latest Education Updaate : 2021 School Selection Date, Computerized School Placement Training Schedule Out.
The Ghana Education Serve (GES) as part of efforts to ensure candidates make the right informed Senior High School selections will roll out a training session across the country for all BECE graduates of 2021.
The training would equip students, teachers and schools with the requisite knowledge and skills needed for the selection of schools.
The SHS selection sessions will commence on Monday 22nd November 2021 to 3rd December 2021. The GES with support from the CSSPS and the Free SHS secretariat will deploy officers across the 16 regions for the training exercise. The training will also sensitive stakeholders on the SHS placement exercise .
According to the letter from the GES signed by Mrs. Patty E. Assan, there will be Regional and District sensitization teams which will include officials of the GES at both levels .
While the District teams will include Deputy Directors in charge of supervision and monitoring, examination officers Guidance and Counseling coordinators and the various Public relation officers, the Regional teams will include Chief Inspector of Schools, Examination officers among other senior officers of the GES.
This update implies schools and parents must make their 2021 BECE graduates avaiable for the training at various centres in their various distrcits.
