The 2021 WASSCE has begun and students writing the examination have been charged to make good grades and enjoy both local and international scholarships from the Akufo Addo-led government.

The aftermath of the release of the 2020 WASSCE results is an indication of the things to come when the 2021 WASSCE results are released later in the year.
Every student writing the 2021 secondary leaving examination (WASSCE 2021) has an equal chance of being acknowledged for a ghana government scholarship if they make good grades.
Students are therefore encouraged to go all out and produce Sterling performance no matter where they can be found.
Students in the villages and less endowed schools must be motivated more because they stand equal and in some instances better chances of obtaining such scholarships.
The 2020 scholarships granted students who made very outstanding grades nearly a year ago must motivate every student sitting the WASSCE for school candidates in Ghana.
International and local scholarships from the government of Ghana, other countries, corporate institutions, NGOs, local and foreign universities for the second batch of Free SHS graduates are projected to increase in 2021.
Accessing tertiary education on scholarship can be a big relief for parents and students. When this burden is shifted due to your good academic performance, it propels the beneficiary for greater heights and opens more doors to countless opportunities for the candidate. This must motivate all the second batch of Free SHS to work hard and excel.
Parents whose wards are sitting the examination must motivate their wards to battle like warriors in the examination with the aim of coming out with flying colours.
Schools and teachers have done their best but as candidates write their practicals, we must continue to inspire confidence in our candidates.
There is no doubt that they all have what it takes to do well. A little bit of concern for them, coaching, and advice at this time can make a difference.

The powerful goodwill message from the Honourable Minister of Education Dr. Aduteum to students sitting the 2021 WASSCE is the starting point. Let us give hope to these students a d challenge their self-belief. Infinite the desire to excel beyond the ordinary and they will perform.
