The NaSIA School licensing fee is not negotiable according to the council. This was disclosed at its latest stakeholder engagements. According to the council, schools can, however, pay the fee in installments if need be.
This was made public by Dr. Haggar Hilda Ampadu, the Executive Director of the council during the stakeholder engagement in organized in Kasoa in the central region.
The programme was attended by over 100 school School proprietors from mainly Private and Public Schools. During the engagement, NaSIA said, it was willing to provide support to schools during the registration.
It further reminded stakeholders that, they will be deemed to be operating illegally if they fail to register their schools by the end of the year. The NaSIA School licensing fee and the closing date for registration have been in the news in recent times with the previous end of registration been extended from May to December.
