GTLE: NTC to sack candidates who remove nose mask during examination
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has introduced a Covid-19 compliance examination rule thus “the NTC would sack candidates who remove nose mask during examination.
NTC face mask exam rule
The council has indicated that due to the covid-19 it will be an offense for any candidate to remove his or her facemask during Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination scheduled for 6th and 7th May 2021.
NTC following covid-19 outbreak says any candidate who will remove his or her face mask during the conduct of the March 2021 teacher licensure examination from 6 to 7 May at the examination hall will be dismissed.
The NTC face mask exam rule was stressed disclosed by the NTC in a blog post sighted by Ghanaeducation.org. The move is to ensure, there is no local transmission of coronavirus during the examination which is a form of mass gathering.

The “removal of face mask at the examination hall” is the last of the 18 examination offenses the National Teaching Council (NTC) has urged prospective candidates to refrain from as the examination begins Thursday.
During the examination, a first-time removal of the mask would be followed by a caution whiles a subsequent removal will lead to dismissal to help curtail any likely spread of coronavirus.
The council furthered that, candidates who show up at the various examination centres without their face masks would to take the exam.

The examination scheduled kick starts on Thursday, May 6, 2021, and ends on Friday, May 7, 2021, country-wide.
