Achimota is also ranked second in Ghana for the most beautiful schools. Achimota is a co-educational boarding school in Accra, Ghana. Sir Frederick Gordon Guggisberg officially launched the institution in 1927. Many famous Ghanaian politicians have attended the institution, including former Ghanaian Heads of State Kwame Nkrumah, Edward Akufo-Addo, Jerry John Rawlings, and John Evans Atta Mills.
