Graduate Excellence Fund
The Graduate Excellence Fund is a need- and merit-based scholarship that recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership. This scholarship is available to those who have completed at least one semester at Kogod or WCL and will be enrolled in at least six credits during the semester for which they are applying.
Merit-Based Scholarships
Automatically Considered at the Time of Admission
All applicants, including international students, are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on academic achievements and potential.

Kogod offers need-based financial aid to help students meet their financial needs. Each student receives a personalized financial plan that may include AU scholarships, federally funded grants, private loans, and low-interest federally funded loans.

Kogod offers 17+ need- and merit-based scholarships, with 10 additional scholarships available to most students. Students can also express interest in additional funding, improving transparency and access to opportunities.
Student Programming Grants
For students with ideas for speakers, panels, or other programs, Student Programming Grants provide financial support to bring these initiatives to life. This fund is available to individual students, not student organizations, and aligns with Kogod’s Learning By Doing outcomes.
There are more than 17 need- and merit-based Kogod scholarships for current graduate students plus 10 available to most Kogod students in any program.
Educational Enhancement Fund
The Educational Enhancement Fund supports students who wish to participate in professional development opportunities such as business conferences, leadership activities, and case competitions, helping them take the next step in their career.
