GES 3rd batch of 2020 teachers postings released
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the 3rd batch of 2020 teachers’ postings, which was delayed. It indicated in a press release dated 21st February that the third batch of leftover postings of the newly trained teachers who completed Colleges of Education (CoE) in 2020could not access their postings.
The third batch of the Ghana Education Service (GES) posting for the 2020 leftover batch has been released. Colleges of Education (CoE) teachers are to check their dashboards,”
2020 newly trained teachers can visit the GES Promotions Portal to access their postings at the cost of GHS10.00.
However only teachers who meet the following criteria were posted as part of the delayed batch.
- Completed their training in a Public College of Education in 2020.
- Passed the licensure examination
- Completed the mandatory National Service
- Applied for recruitment into the service.
In a related development, Educationweb.com.gh has indicated that “the release of the third batch of leftover postings of the year 2020 comes after the Minister for Education, Hon Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum assured his outfit in due course will get financial clearance to post unposted trained teachers.
Honourable Osei Yaw Adutwum in a meeting with the leadership of various Students Unions indicated a special request has been submitted to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) for financial clearance to facilitate the backlog postings.

When asked when graduate teachers will be recruited into service by the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr. Yaw Adutwum stated that a financial clearance will be granted to his organization at the proper time for the recruitment of more graduate teachers.
