GES Names Top Outstanding Students In The 2022 WASSCE
The Ghana Education Service has named two students from St James Seminary SHS as the top performing students in the 2022 WASSCE.
Alex Opoku Manu was crowned the overall best student in the 2022 WASSCE. He is a student from ST. James Seminary SHS. Benjamin Eyram Nana Kwame Degbey was also crowned the second best performing student in the exams. He is also a student of ST. James Seminary SHS.
The students were awarded in a ceremony which was held in Banjul, Gambia during the 71st annual council meeting of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) from the 13th to 17th of March 2023.

The 5 day programme was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Gambia, H.E. Adama Barrow. The Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Dr. Eric Nkansah, together with other dignitaries.

ST JAMES SEMINARY SHS STUDENTS TOPS 22 WASSCE
Alex Opoku Manu and Benjamin Eyram Nana Kwame Degbey both from St James Seminary SHS, Sunyani were presented with an award for their exceptional performance during the 2022 WASSCE.
The students made Ghana proud by picking up the first and second positions respectively.
Odigigbo Chioma Blessing of Nigeria took the third position.The award ceremony was held in Banjul, Gambia during the 71st annual council meeting of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) from the 13th to 17th of March 2023.
The Director-General Dr Eric Nkansah joined Ghana’s delegation which included Father Owusu Sekyere, Headmaster of Opoku Ware School to attend the meeting.
