GES opens recruitment portal: Apply for posting now

Ghana Education News can confirm that the Ghana Education Service – GES has opened its recruitment portal for qualified teachers.

GES Promotions Website (gespromotions.gov.gh) is officially live for the recruitment of the 2022 Colleges of Education first batch of degree holders. Applicants can now apply online for recruitment

This comes after GES and the Ministry of Education were given green light by the Finance Ministry to start the process of recruiting teacher trainees who completed their public colleges of education in 2022.

According to the press release issued by the Director General of GES, eligible applicants must fulfill certain criteria to be considered for employment. These criteria include graduating from a public college of education in 2022, having no outstanding examinations or referrals, completing the mandatory national service, and passing the National Teacher Licensure Examination.

Furthermore, applicants must be willing to accept postings in any location where their teaching services are required. This flexibility is essential for meeting the employment needs across various regions and communities within Ghana.

The GES encourages qualified individuals who meet all the specified requirements to submit their applications for consideration in this recruitment exercise. This indicates that the process is open to all eligible candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching within the Ghanaian education system.

The clearance given by the Finance Ministry allows the GES and the Ministry of Education to begin the recruitment process for 2022 graduates of public colleges of education. Eligible candidates who meet the outlined criteria are encouraged to apply for teaching positions, demonstrating their commitment to contributing to the education sector in Ghana.
